The brief/

Packaging for a stoneware studio, designed so every bowl arrives as carefully as it left the kiln.

Oda throws every piece by hand. The packaging had to protect that work without hiding it.

The challenge

Breakages in transit, plastic fill nobody wanted, and boxes that said nothing about the work inside.

The response

Moulded pulp trays sized to each form, an oxblood belly band printed with the glaze and firing details, and a care card written in the potter’s own words.
